This position paper argues for the legitimacy and necessity of an integrative science of inner development — one that draws on the rigorous empirical and theoretical heritage of Sufi knowledge traditions while engaging with contemporary scientific methodologies. We propose a research programme, methodological framework, and institutional agenda for advancing this agenda.
